Gandhaya Quartet is always looking for new combinations, formulas, musical colours and flavours. Combining instruments like the Oud, Guitar (with 7 strings), the Bansuri (from India), tablas and congas (percussion instruments), the ensemble performs both fresh arrangements and original compositions with unprecedented possibilities in rhythms, harmonies and melodies. The music features elements of music from India, Turkey and Brazil.The vibe of the EP progressively moves from contemplative to dancing, capturing the essence of the diverse sounds of the Baião.
