Madeleine Peyroux - Let’s Walk

Madeleine Peyroux Let's Walk Dolby Atmos IAA

Acclaimed jazz singer, songwriter and interpreter Madeleine Peyroux will release Let’s Walk, her first album in six years, on June 28th. The collection is her most diverse, intimate and bold work to date as she shares thoughtful and revealing views on personal and societal concerns. Peyroux offers hope through understanding and community by using one of our most unifying means, music.

Let’s Walk is Peyroux’s ninth album and the first in which she co-wrote every song with longtime collaborator Jon Herington. The album was mixed in 5.1.4 immersive audio by Elliot Scheiner and mastered by Darcy Proper. Mark Doyle - Incense and Peppermints

Mark Doyle Incense Clearmountain Atmos IAA

Incense and Peppermints - Out of the Past II, the new instrumental project from musician/producer Mark Doyle, is a love letter to the psychedelic era and the incredible music that transformed Doyle’s life as a young artist in Syracuse–where he continues to thrive. “I was a great hippie,” he remembers today with a chuckle, “and I definitely partook in some of the psychedelic culture.”

Featuring legendary drummer Steve Jordan and mixed in mind-expanding surround sound by studio titan Bob Clearmountain (The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Roxy Music, The Who, etc), the album combines curated ’60s gems with original music and gorgeous string arrangements.

Rob Baird - Burning In The Stars

Rob Baird Burning Chris Bell IAA

Burning In The Stars, Tennessee-based singer/songwriter Rob Baird’s latest studio album, is undoubtedly his finest offering to date. Baird lays it all on the line with raw, vulnerable reflections on hope and loss, faith and resilience, heartbreak and redemption. The songs are lean and compact, cutting to the quick with surgical precision.

The performances are similarly direct, fueled by earnest, melodic arrangements that call to mind everything from Tom Petty and Bob Seger to James McMurtry and Lucinda Williams. The result is a cinematic mix of alt-country intimacy and rock and roll ecstasy that refuses to shy away from pain in its pursuit of growth. Burning In The Stars was mixed in Dolby Atmos by Chris Bell.

Daughter - Stereo Mind Game

Daughter Stereo Mind Game Dolby Atmos IAA Download

Daughter–the trio comprising Elena Tonra, Igor Haefeli and Remi Aguilella–formed in 2010. After releasing two studio albums, If You Leave (2013) and Not to Disappear (2016), plus the video game soundtrack Music From Before the Storm (2017), they chose to take some time off. Stereo Mind Game, the band’s first studio album for seven years, grapples with what it means to be separated, from loved ones and too from yourself.

While Daughter’s previous work found power in emotional honesty, Stereo Mind Game welcomes opposing feelings. “It’s about not working in absolutes,” Haefeli says. After more than a decade spent depicting the darkest emotions, Daughter have made their most optimistic record yet. Stereo Mind Game was mixed in Dolby Atmos by Ben Baptie.

ANOHNI and The Johnsons - My Back Was A Bridge For You To Cross

ANOHNI Dolby Atmos IAA Download

ANOHNI’s music revolves around the strength found in vulnerability, whether it’s the naked trembling of her voice or the way her lyrics cut deeper the simpler they get. My Back Was A Bridge For You To Cross—her first album of new material with the Johnsons since 2010’s Swanlights—sets aside the more experimental/electronic quality of 2016’s HOPELESSNESS in favor of the tender avant-soul most listeners came to know her by. She mourns her friends (“Sliver of Ice”), mourns herself (“It’s My Fault”), and catalogs the seemingly limitless cruelty of humankind (“It Must Change”). The album was mixed in Dolby Atmos by Jimmy Hogarth.
