The Picture formed in 2003, when lead singer/songwriter Robert Abel from New York met guitarist Chris Buckle from Liverpool.. Basic tracking for their fourth and latest album, We Are Not Myths, was completed at Water Music in Hoboken, NJ–engineered by James Frazee–while additional elements were recorded in various studios, apartments and homes along the way by Robert Abel. Catchy, energetic, layered and memorable, We Are Not Myths represents the very best of The Picture. The album was mixed in Dolby Atmos by Matt Boudreau and mastered by Justin Grey.
