The recording sessions for Music From The Stratosphere began in the autumn of 2019 at Alberto Callegari's Elfo Studio and marked the arrival of Giacomo Pezzoni, who replaced Maurizio Caldini on keyboards. Immersed in the bucolic atmosphere of the Piacenza countryside, the five worked intensely on the ready-made material for a few months until the forced stop due to the events of 2020. Inspired by great musicians of the past, the five have embraced the philosophy of a live recording method on the floor with minimal concessions to overdubs. The single was mixed in Dolby Atmos by Adrian Hall.
