Bob James is an award-winning composer, arranger, producer, and pianist. Along with Grover Washington, Jr., he is known as one of the fathers of smooth and contemporary Jazz. Double Vision, his 1986 collaboration with acclaimed saxophonist David Sanborn, was a massive critical and commercial success. The album spent 63 weeks on the Billboard charts, peaking at No. 16 on the R&B albums chart. It went on to win the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Fusion Performance, Vocal or Instrumental and the song "Since I Fell for You" earned a nomination for Al Jarreau in the category of Best R&B Male Vocal Performance. Nearly four decades after its original release, Double Vision has been remixed in Dolby Atmos and immersive audio.
