Vangelis was a huge inspiration to Charles-Henri Avelange when he was growing up. To commemorate the recent passing of the late maestro, and to cope with the loss, Avelange produced here a faithful cover from one of Vangelis' fan's all time favorite "Conquest of Paradise." Avelange brings his own touch to it while staying faithful to the original, reproducing the singing choir and adding ethnic instruments and indigenous chants. The synthesizers elements were recreated using a vast array of analog Moog synthesizers, all mixed in 5.1 surround for a new immersive experience which Avelange hopes will make you discover or rediscover this timeless piece of music.
