Good Lies, the 2023 debut studio album from Welsh electronic duo Overmono, is a refreshing blend of UK garage, techno, and ambient music that shows the group’s mastery of layering intricate soundscapes with raw, emotional undertones. Known for their ability to blend underground electronic influences with a cinematic touch, Overmono takes listeners on a sonic journey through both euphoric highs and introspective lows. 

Across the 12-track project, Overmono offer a powerful distillation of their musical career so far. Good Lies remoulds and interweaves captivating vocal cuts into a series of multi-genre electronic sounds that flits effortlessly between euphoria and melancholy in the same 4-bar loop. Overall, the music retains a rawness and authenticity that’s often hard to find in highly-produced electronic albums.

Good Lies is also Overmono’s first release to receive an immersive mix. Though the Dolby Atmos mix has been available to stream since 2023, we at IAA are thrilled to now offer the album as an exclusive immersive digital download through our online shop!

Immersive Audio Album offers immersive digital downloads in the lossless Dolby TrueHD format. While streaming services offer convenience and access to a vast library of music, they also severely compress the audio to save bandwidth. With lossless TrueHD, the inner detail and sonic clarity is much better preserved for home listeners.

Good Lies is the fourteenth entry in an ongoing series of high-resolution digital immersive releases from IAA and Beggars Group, one of the world's largest and most-respected independent label groups.
