Meta Music Initiative was created in 2016 as a program within Meta Platforms, Inc, with a mission to empower independent artists worldwide to create authentic, high-quality music. With a focus on fostering creativity and artistic expression, MMI’s music is free to use and globally rights-cleared across all Meta products and experiences.

The immersive album was mixed by Richie Biggs, Justin Lieberman, Soojung Kwack, and Christopher Hughes, and showcases a range of approaches for an immersive music listening experience. Michael Romanowski was the immersive mastering engineer.
Julia Gartha is a pop vocalist, songwriter, producer, and classically trained pianist from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She has sung with notable artists such as Olivia Rodrigo and collaborated on projects with figures like A.R. Rahman, Ariza, and Jonita Gandhi; amassing millions of streams across multiple releases.
Global Genius is led by Nashville-based music industry veterans Ken Lewis and Scott Dente, who have spent over 20 years building a community of premier musicians, singers, and engineers. With access to top-notch talent in Nashville, a world-class music hub, they create compositions that span genres from Bluegrass to Electronica, Big Band to Country.
Jayme Stone is a musician, composer, producer, and instigator. He has made seven albums and produced over 500 songs—from Gullah spirituals to Indie-pop songs, Trinidadian calypsos to Indian rāgas. “A consummate team player” (Downbeat), Stone has developed a process of trawling for understudied sounds in the more arcane corners of the world. His cross-continental collaborators have included Margaret Glaspy, Julian Lage, Tim O’Brien, Bassekou Kouyate, Yacouba Sissoko, Dom Flemons, Ranky Tanky, Trio Brasileiro, and many more.
bbox is a multidisciplinary team that combines various creative specialties to create unique and atmospheric music for the digital age. Led by Robbie Landsburg, bbox explores sound and image through music composition, production, and sound design, often collaborating with friends from diverse musical backgrounds (RENEWER, Beautiful Dudes, Youth Medium). Their work pushes the boundaries of pop, electronic, indie, and hip-hop production.
Ross Lara is a producer and composer with success across electronic, cinematic, and pop music. Driven by a passion for innovation, he has produced and composed for Epic Games, Red Bull, and dozens of artists that have topped international Billboard charts, amassing over 1 billion streams and views.
Chela Rivas is an independent singer-songwriter, musician, producer, and DJ of electronic and pop music from Mexico City. Many of her songs have been added to top Spotify playlists including Mint, Euphoria EDM, and Equal. Big brands such as Victoria’s Secret, Ducati, Sephora, Ariana Grande, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint Germain have used Chela’s music in their Reels. She has performed as an opening act for Tiesto, Dash Berlin, and the violinist Lindsey Stirling and has performed in important venues and events such as EDC Mexico, Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, and SXSW in Austin.
Wilbert Roget, II is a composer and producer who has worked on numerous high-profile projects in the video game and animation industries, including Star Wars: Outlaws, Helldivers 2, Mortal Kombat 1, Call of Duty: WWII, Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance, and the Emmy Award-winning Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series. By fusing traditional and electronic elements, Wilbert creates innovative soundscapes. His work has garnered critical acclaim and numerous industry accolades, including awards and nominations from ASCAP, G.A.N.G., and the D.I.C.E. Awards.
Ruby Amanfu is a Ghana-born, Nashville-based Grammy, Soul Train, and BET Award-nominated songwriter and recording artist. During her prolific career in songwriting and recording, Amanfu has released 11 critically acclaimed solo studio albums with many more to come. Her refreshing blend of R&B, pop, and country have kept her in demand, with her music being a mainstay in television and film projects.
Charlie Peacock is a 6x Grammy Award-winning record producer, composer, singer-songwriter, and jazz musician. Having produced hits across various genres, he has established himself as a versatile and innovative producer. Collaborations with renowned artists like Ravi Coltrane, John Patitucci, Chris Cornell, and The Civil Wars as well as his work on TV shows and films demonstrate his ability to push boundaries and create timeless music.
Afro Sound Machine is an international collaboration of artists and producers dedicated to developing and showcasing the best in rising talent from across the African continent. ‘Champion’ is a collaboration with Cameroonian hitmakers Dobgima & Kking Kum. Notable collaborations include Ko-c (Kocee) & Chilli Wawaye.
Loga Ramin Torkian is an Iranian-born composer and multi-instrumentalist known for his work with electronic/acoustic world music groups Niyaz and Axiom of Choice. He received a Canadian JUNO Award nomination for the album "Lamentation of Swans." Loga is credited with creating the first ever quarter-tone guitar with movable frets and has worked with Jonathan Wilson to develop the Kamaan, a bowed acoustic instrument.
Immersive Audio Album offers immersive digital downloads in the lossless Dolby TrueHD format. While streaming services offer convenience and access to a vast library of music, they also severely compress the audio to save bandwidth.
