Famous Last Words, the long-awaited full-length debut release from UK-based rapper CASISDEAD, finally arrived in October 2023 via XL Recordings. It’s a deeply immersive listen—with even the interludes delivering dreamy, neon-lit borders with CAS, more anti than hero, stalking each frame. 

The album is a fully-realized expansion of the dystopian futurism that has captivated audiences since CASISDEAD first announced himself in 2013. He’s dipped in-and- out of the shadows over the past decade, blessing fans with cult hits while maintaining his anonymity and shunning media attention–a rejection of the spotlight that’s helped to create folklore around a rapper who’s widely regarded as one of the UK’s most inventive lyricists.

Famous Last Words is also CASISDEAD’s first studio release to receive an immersive mix. Though the Dolby Atmos mix has been available to stream since 2023, we at IAA are thrilled to now offer the album as an exclusive immersive digital download through our online shop!

Immersive Audio Album offers immersive digital downloads in the lossless Dolby TrueHD format. While streaming services offer convenience and access to a vast library of music, they also severely compress the audio to save bandwidth. With lossless TrueHD, the inner detail and sonic clarity is much better preserved for home listeners.

Famous Last Words is the thirteenth entry in an ongoing series of high-resolution digital immersive releases from IAA and Beggars Group, one of the world's largest and most-respected independent label groups.
